This 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS is a well preserved big body sedan with a sinister look. This super sport has been garaged along with spending most of its time in an airport hangar and has never been driven in harmful elements.
The super sport package offered top of the line trim level with original police package such as heavy duty brakes, rear wheel drive, lowered height with sport tuned suspension, limited slip differential, dual exhaust system, distinctive wheels, rear spoiler, and an speedo/RPM gauge cluster with SS badging. The Impala came with a high performance 5.1 litre L.T.1. engine, 260 h.p., 330 torque, and was made in the same power plant as the Corvette engine.
The 1996 SS had a floor shifter (1994 & 1995 did not, column only). The stereo has upgraded Alpine head unit with an amp and sub-woofer in the trunk. Original stereo comes with also.
Exterior is very nice and straight with no signs of paintwork. Has few small chips, small crease below passenger side mirror. Rest of the body is in super condition.
Tires are Riken 255/50z R17 Raptor ZR.
Interior is gray leather with embroidered SS logos in the head rests, large door panel controls with power windows, locks, power seats and everything works!
This Impala SS has the original window sticker with clean CarFax.
Car is real tight, great running engine, shifts great mechanically sound, but looks to have slight shifter shaft seal seapage.
